A custom Domain Name give readers the direct access to your site. eg .com .org .ga .ng .tv .com.ng etc. for example when you register for a free website, they will give you a subdomain name, eg when you register with blogger; www.yoursiite.blogspot.com the .blogspot.com is the sub-domain name. if you decided to change it to a custom domain name it will be www.yoursite.com or .org etc. the .blogspot.com will be replaced with the custom domain name.
